The Bible
I have read "A New Kind of Christian," "The Story We Find Ourselves In," and am in the middle of "Finding Faith." I have a pretty conservative background when dealing with interpreting the Bible. Intellectually, I have a hard time accepting that the Bible is the literal "Word of God"--and if it ever was originally, I think that so much of it has to have been lost/altered between translations, political agendas, and human interpretations over the years. How do you address these issues?
