I was working the booth for XXX. As I told you then, your book, A New Kind of Christian, had a positive impact on my life. I really enjoyed your talk at the convention as well.
I am a former Southern Baptist minister who also attended a very conservative theological seminary. While I see some value in my training and former ministries, I have since moved away from those strict conservative leanings. I have been learning the blessings of the mysteries of faith and become more "mello" or open in my faith. Its been a liberating time in my life and as a result, my faith in God has grown. As you know, God's love is so amazing and compelling!
I just finished reading "Finding Faith". It was a terrifric book that stretched my thinking. Thank you Brian for your commitment to Christ, to the community of faith and for your ministries. Be assured of my prayers for you as you seek to spread God's love and grace.
